Lea Kirsten
Lea Kirsten completed her bachelor's degree in nutritional science and then her master's degree in nutritional economics at Justus Liebig University in Giessen. She focused on market research and conducted a study on consumer acceptance of insects as food as part of her master's thesis.
After completing her studies, she was employed by the AFC Consulting Group in the public services sector. In this role, she worked on projects and evaluations for public clients in the fields of agriculture, nutrition, environment, and consumer protection. Since January 2026, Lea Kirsten works as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Marketing of Food and Agricultural Products at the University of Göttingen.
