Required documents MSc BEEC, CoBi, DNB and MLS
The following procedure will apply from January 2026, subject to the final publication of the admission regulation.
The required documents for application and admission differ between EU and non-EU applicants, as described below.
- 
         Applicants with non-EU citizenship and non-EU Bachelor's degree The documents must be uploaded via the upload portal. All documents (except English certificate or Bachelor's certificate) must be uploaded within the application period. Incomplete applications are not considered. 
 -  Bachelor-certificate/Diploma (certified copy, in English or German)
 If the diploma is not yet on hand, the applicant must provide an official transcript of records and an official statement of the average grade. Submission can be postponed to latest 15 November of year of application.
- Transcript of records (in English or German)
- Curriculum vitae (data sheet, in English, with a meaningful description of the applicant's educational background)
- Proof of proficiency English
 Required, if the applicants native language is not English and he/she has no English degree (submission can be postponed to latest 15 November of year of application)
- Letter of Motivation
- Identification document (identity card or passport)
- University's grading scheme
 Official statement or link to the relevant university website regarding the grading system used for the Bachelor's degree assessment
- Optional: Proof of additional skills in the field of studies
 E.g. extracurricular practical activities in a relevant field (internship, apprenticeship), or a stay abroad of at least 8 weeks.
- Optional: Proof of proficiency German
 E.g. German language certificates.
- Optional: Official description of the modules (only for applicants who have not graduated at the University of Göttingen), can also be submitted as link to the electronic documents.
- Optional: Applicants from China and India have to supply an APS certificate of the German embassy. This does not have to be available at the time of application, but is required for enrollment at the latest.
