Research Focus
The chair's research interests lie in general international law, in particular in the doctrine of sources of law (hybridization), in the relationship between different legal systems, including the relationship and interaction between national and international courts, in United Nations law, and in intellectual property law in its international and European law contexts.

The joint research project of the Institute for International Law and European Law and the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem held a conference on the topic of “Unpacking Economic and Social Rights: International and Comparative Dimensions” in Göttingen on November 9-10, 2018.
