** Consent for Data Processing within the InDiGU-PLUS Project
As part of my participation in the activities offered by the InDiGU-PLUS project — such as language courses, compact formats, individual advising, and similar formats — I consent to the processing of my personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The controller as defined in Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR is the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (excluding the University Medical Center Göttingen – UMG), represented by the President, Wilhelmsplatz 1, 37073 Göttingen. The entity responsible for data processing is the InDiGU-PLUS project. My data will be processed solely for the purposes of organizing, conducting, and managing the programs, including course registrations, confirmations of participation, communication and information exchange, as well as for evaluating and analyzing the offerings. This also includes the use of the collected data for research purposes, academic publications, and the publication of evaluation results on the project website and related institutional websites, in social media, and in the context of conferences and symposia — if this is done anonymously or with my prior consent. The legal basis for the processing is my consent (Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. a GDPR). My data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the implementation of the programs or I have explicitly consented. My personal data will be stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes or as required by legal retention obligations. For research purposes, the data may be stored and processed beyond the duration of the project, provided this is necessary to achieve scientific objectives and I have given my consent. In such cases, the data will either be anonymized or stored in a form that ensures the protection of my privacy. I am aware that I have the right at any time to request information about the processing of my data, to request the correction of incorrect data, to request the deletion of my data, to request the restriction of processing, or to object to the processing. In addition, I may revoke my consent at any time with effect for the future.
