The programme-specific examination regulations of the bachelor's and master's programmes of the Faculty of Business and Economics (with the exception of Business and Human Resource Education) also allow you to take other courses (alternative modules) in selected areas (e.g. electives or general studies) instead of the modules listed (see also the diagram linked here). For information on the regulations for your programme, please refer to your current examination regulations. The relevant regulations can be found on the websites of the respective programmes. To decide whether you can apply for recognition of an alternative module, please refer to the chart linked here. Please submit the following documents to the Student Advisory Service: Please send us the application form and module descriptions as one PDF document per application by e-mail. In addition to the application form, we also need your transcript of records. This will be requested in the original if necessary. Please note that the process for recognition of alternative modules is lengthy and may take some time. This is especially true if you wish to have modules from other faculties recognised (not B.WIWI. or M.WIWI. modules). Recognition up to the examination date is only possible if the application is submitted four weeks after the start of lectures. Applications received later than this cannot be guaranteed to be reviewed in time for the examination date. Please note that you can only apply for recognition of alternative modules before the end of the course. Please refer to § 13 (9) of the General Examination Regulations (Allgemeine Prüfungsordnung). The decision to approve the request is made by the Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Business and Economics. Before making a decision, the Dean of Studies will seek an opinion on the appropriateness of the module substitution from the lecturers of the programme in which the student is enrolled. The application can be rejected without giving reasons and the applicant has no legal claim. 37073 Göttingen Oeconomicum, first floor
