CIP pool of the Faculty of Geosciences and Geography
Task of the CIP pool
CIP stands for Computer Investment Programme. The institute of such pools goes back to an initiative of the German Research Foundation in the 1980s. They are intended to provide networked personal computers for teaching purposes.
The aim of the entire programme is to introduce students to the use of computers.
Today, the CIP rooms are a central resource and IT basis for teaching methodological skills in various areas of teaching in the faculty's different degree programmes.
