About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at the University of Göttingen, where I currently lead a research project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) on consumer decision-making and food safety in Vietnam.

My research lies at the intersection of development economics, agricultural economics, and behavioral economics, with a particular focus on food-related decision-making in low- and middle-income countries. I am particularly interested in how individuals and households form and update beliefs, process information, and make choices, and how these behavioral mechanisms interact with socioeconomic conditions in rural and vulnerable communities.

My research combines field and lab-in-the-field experiments with household survey data and applied microeconometric methods. Much of my recent work focuses on Vietnam, examining how information, beliefs, and behavioral biases shape individual and household behavior and how these insights can contribute to improving consumer welfare and rural livelihoods.
