ENLIGHT Badges
Students of the University of Göttingen and its ENLIGHT partner universities have the opportunity to have their commitment to the European university network ENLIGHT recognized with two Digital Badges in the field of internationalisation.
These digital proofs of competence enable the transparent presentation of commitment and achievements that lie outside the ECTS credit allocation. As a supplement to the curricular offerings, they serve as certified proof of acquired skills in various subject areas.
The "Ambassador of the European university network ENLIGHT" badge is awarded to students who represent the University of Göttingen at conferences and network meetings within the framework of ENLIGHT (e.g. Midyear Meeting, General Meeting, Teaching and Learning Conference). This includes giving a presentation in English or recording their impressions in a one-and-a-half-minute selfie video.
For the "Advocate of the European university network ENLIGHT" badge, students act as advocates of ENLIGHT by sharing their experiences of participating in an ENLIGHT course (e.g. E+ Blended Intensive Program, Seasonal School) with other students in a one-and-a-half-minute selfie video.
Both ENLIGHT badges offer students the opportunity to think outside the box and gain international experience. In doing so, they not only develop their academic skills, but also build valuable networks and strengthen their intercultural and foreign language skills. These additional knowledge and skills can be made visible by integrating the badges on social media or presenting them in application processes.
