Dr. Anne Wiese
Dr Anne Wiese worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Retailing from October 2008 until February 2014. Her research focussed on sustainability in retailing (CSR, organic and fair trade products, shopping processes) and in supply chains. She successfully defended her doctoral thesis with the topic “Sustainability in Retailing – Environmental Effects of Transport Processes, Shopping Trips and Related Consumer Behaviour" in August 2013.
Since February 2014, Anne Wiese is working at the parcel service provider GLS which is mainly active in Europe and North America. In her function as Manager Corporate Responsibility GLS Group she is responsible for all group wide CR activities. For instance, among these there is the CR strategy, the CR report, the eco footprint, certifications within the field of sustainability and the environmental management system regarding ISO 14001:2015. Furthermore, she is the central contact person for the CR-related requests from all GLS countries.
