How do I send money to India?

It is easier if you have an account in ICICI or HDFC or any other Bank that offers wire transfer from Germany to India. For immediate transfers, one could use Western union though more expensive. Citibank offers an NRI service, wherein one can order a draft to be sent to anyone in India.
